Default Texture-Bug detected in V1.4

Hello Captains,

during my work on a big Mod for SH4 i have detected a bug in V1.4.
The guns from the Somers-Destroyer comes without textures !

Here an picture :

The EQP-File shows that he used the "5InchDoubleT" gun.

In SH4 Version 1.0 he uses the "5in_Double_base_US" and there he got textured guns but they are to big !

Did anyone noticed that too and did anyone got information to correct it ?
Need help there !

Thanks

Maddy

'tag,

Just did a quick test, and in my game it looks all fine.
See signature, for mod-configuration.

So either one of the mods I used, corrected the problem (guess that would be the RFB-mod)...or the problem is on your installation or hardware.

It could be a memory-problem...how much RAM does your PC have?
Try minimizing (Alt-Tab) SH4, stay on Desktop for a few secs, and then maximize SH4 again...sometimes, this corrects minor loading-glitches.

You have no textures at all. Sorry, I used the term 'Bad' liberally. I get black planes when making them if I change these lines from the original values with clones..

Roster/nation/unit

[UnitClass]
ClassName=ASW_F1M_Pete
UnitType=304
AppearanceDate=19390101
DisappearanceDate=19480101
DisplayName=ASW_F1M_Pete

[Texture 1]
TextureName=data/Air/AFS_F1M_Pete/AFS_F1M_Pete_T01.tga
StartDate=19000101
EndDate=19991231
Frequency=1

[Unit 1]
Name=ASW_F1M_Pete
DOC=19390101
DOD=19480101

even though I can change the 3D model path(in the unit folder), if I try to change the TextureName line, I get black aircraft.

Default Mod conflict

This is a mod conflict for sure......

Library and Sea folders make some kind of conflict!

I had the same problem with the initial releaze of the Lutzow battleship in SH3. The 28'' turrets were black. I realized that the link of the turrets of the .cfg file (of the independed mode releaze) where diffrent from the file name of the turrets in the library folder (from GW mod). So I manually changed it according to the library's turret's file name and the turrets appeared correctly!
So I guess you have the same problem! You have mixed some mods!
Unfortunatelly I have not searced SH4 in depth in order to be more specific and tell you what exactlly you have to change...sorry!
