Strange, I've never seen Spam on any part of your site JC :hmm: So I don't know to what they are refering to.
It's real clever of them to delete your hard work and then dream up an explanation for doing so, Couldn't they have asked you first about it?
It's also clever that they don't bother to backup your data before doing it, so it may be restored after contacting you about this 'invisible' spam.
Well I hope you and Venatore will continue posting in here and working on your mods.
I don't know what I'd do without them and gwx.

JC mate, in an effort to get something good from this, I have an idea!

All ISP's give users a certain amount of free webspace. Take a look at this link - http://www.simplemachines.org/ - it allows you to download free forum software, customise it and then upload it to YOUR website/space. Look into it and this could never happen again as you & only you have control over what happens etc.

Worth checking out?

I was thinking in adding a download section over the main Website !

But it will take time and that i don't have much at the moment !

Also i feel so frustrated and down with all this
that I even have the rage of spreding thru the Net this issue to
bring them bad pub.

I am feeling very down and sad,
cause I loved what we me venatore, Iambecomlife, Madmax
were bringing to life !

I feel really down with this all guys!

You would be making us no money, you would be using our resources, and you are getting my time now. This is being done for you. Not for us.

As I said, I'm sorry this happened but I clearly explained it wasn't a personal attack on you. In a perfect world we could email every user in advance but that would only warn these pedophile forums to move their users elsewhere before we could remove them.

Next time you correspond with them, IF you correspond to them, you might also point out that their FACTS are inaccurate. If they eliminated 10,000 boards, and have only received complaints from 4, (I assume they are counting yours in with that), then it is NOT 0.0004% as they state that is. According to Microsoft Excel's math functions, it is actually 0.04%

Further, I DID go to the website. Yes, it no longer exists. However, the notice in it's place states

Please make sure you are spelling the forum's URL correctly. Remember, URLs are CaSe SeNsItIvE so be sure to capitalize letters if they require it.

This forum may also have been removed due to a Terms of Service violation or extreme inactivity (no activity for over a year).

Now, IMHO, None of those conditions exist. Therefore, what they have said is, once you notified them, UNTRUE and, therefore, COULD constitute libel in some jurisdictions. That is something I think I might point out to them as well...

Having said all of that, I am quite saddened that all of your work with the forums apparently went down the tubes in one fell swoop. I am not really good at this stuff, but if there is something I can do to help rebuild...I am but a PM away!

I was wondering what had happened to your site JC, I was there only yesterday trying to get hold of one of your mods, and getting that stupid page about case sensitivity. This is terrible news, and very unprofessional of them.

All I can say is screw him and his 1 year offer.
