Default Turning Point Fall of Liberty

A new alternate history first person shooter is coming out on Feb 26. Turning Point is agame in which Winston Churchill dies in 1931, and Nazi Germany takes over Europe ands North Africa. Germany invades the United States in 1953. Some of the game's weapons are actuall weapons but many are ones created by the designers that are mora advanced than that of the regular weapons of that era. The game will be realesed on PC, PS 3 and X box 360.

I guess this proves the WW2 genre is totally worn out.

I believe we had a number of discussions on what the Japanese could have done differently to win against the USA concerning their attack on Pearl Harbor. Apparently everyone pretty much agreed that nothing would have changed, i.e, they could only prolong their demise. This game throws a whole new light on the "WHAT IF...." idea concerning how things might have turned out. There was a background page indicating that Japan would have access to oil that Germany managed to capture, meaning they wouldn't have had to attack the USA when they did.

Interesting as to what would a sub-sim game would have to change, should this all have come to pass.
