AI Shenanigans

I came across a pair of ships whose course would take them straight through a landmass. Usually the AI will alter course in this situation, but in this case, they didn't. The ships just charged straight at the beach, stopped, and reversed just before running aground, and then came back on the same heading and did it again. They did this for days as I watched them, with only a couple of variations (I saved the game to capture the moment, and they've done several different things after ramming the coast for a hours).

This is typical behavior. In general, I find this happens more with escorts due to their scripted patrol patturns conflicting with land.
