Default GWX 2.0 Problem

In breif...
Newly installed equipment not appearing on the F7 screen + equipment listed as "Not Working" still works!

The long version...
Just noticed something a little odd, ive just had radar and BOLD decoys installed on my sub, however these items are not listed in the F7 screen (as they were in stock SH3 and other supermods), so does this mean they cant be damaged or i just cant see when theyre damaged??
Just to illustrate what im jibbering about heres a pic:

Also on my last patrol i took some damage to my conning tower courtesy of several depth charges, my attack periscope was shown as "Not Working" but i could still use it as normal, I used to be an NYGM guy untill GWX2 was released, and am sure that when something was listed as being busted you couldnt use it!

I dont know if these issues are really bugs, but they are sure bugging me.

+ On a totally unrelated note, I thought id share a pretty little picture i made for my desktop wallpaper, the subs shown are a type7c and a type9c, textures on both subs are from GWX2 (ie FUBAR`s skins), all the other junk in the scene is my own.

That's a very nice picture, thanks for sharing!
If you did get inspiration from this photo (also featured in Herbert A. Werner's book) I would say yours is far more better looking than the original.

Btw, do you perhaps have your picture in higher rez and/or widescreen format? I'd be very glad to use it as desktop image.

Thanks a lot, that would be very kind of you.
I use 1680x1050 as resolution but if that format will make it stretched i'd be fine with just a normal 4:3 image in that height if possible.

Hmm, your probably right about the photo, didn't find it in my copy of iron coffins (even though some of the photo pages have fallen out). Perhaps I read here about the VIIC to the left being Werners boat.:hmm:

Re: wallpaper, alrighty ive made a couple of larger versions 1920x1440 and 1920x1080 (they can be scaled down to fit pretty much any desktop)

+the widescreen version is a bit of a cheat, i just cropped the large 4:3 shot, but it still looks good.

Ive packaged them with a few older desktops of mine:
