Default (REL) Whaler-Chaser_MOD by nautilus42

A Whalechaser on the way to his Whalefactoryship. We must sink this Ship.

1. Question to the GWX_Team for Permission to Release this Ship
INFO:
Fom SH4 to Sh3 converted SubChaser, modified with a crane and a positionbouy, some new deckscrew and catched whales beside. UnitType=104.

For GWX_2.0 only, because i used the nice whale from GWX 2.0, also the positionbouy ( made by rowie58 ). The Whale has his own dat-file in the library also the crane and new deckscrew. All is implemented over the Loadout_Function in the WhaleChaser.eqp_file, No GWX_files changed. No CTD

The WhaleChaser is currently not for download before i have permission from the GWX_Team for relaesed, because i used some files from GWX.

Greetings

Anyway the ship looks real good. Just a question : if we sink the ship, will it free the whale ? :hmm:

Sorry , no the whales already dead .

I think there are many from the GWX-Team online and read this post. I have time anough to wait for an answer.

Hi Nautilus, quite ingenious use of the whale files, I've never thought of that .
I can't speak for the entire team, but there's no problem on my side for your use of the files, I'll check with the rest of the team and get back to you.

Just recieved the OK from the rest of the team, please go ahead and relese it

And what if we hit a whale with a torpedo? Will it explode and ship will be undamaged?

jk. Great mod.

Next thing you'll find your crew singing that song made famous by Dame Vera Lynn...........'Whale meat again, don't know where don't know when' :p

Aw no, does the Whale really have to be dead
How about if the ship get's torpedoed, freeing the Whale and it sails off into the sunset. That would be nicer

Another candidate for modding into a whalecatcher would be the "Flower" class corvette. The "Flower" design was actually based on a pre-war whalecatcher design, and post-war a number of the "Flower" survivors were converted to whalecatchers, such as HMS "Carnation".

LOL if the whale was alive at the time of torp impact he would be blown to bits, so id say he's better off being dead already
