Heath Ledger Found Dead in Apartment

CNN, just about 2 minutes ago, reported in that the young actor was found dead. He was recently starring the the film "The Dark Night" (sequel to "Batman Begins") as The Joker and had starred in the film Brokeback Mountain. He was 28 years old, and he leaves behind a 2-year old daughter.

Recent sources indicate that Mr. Ledger had an appointment with a local massager who was coming to perform his service. Towards 3:30ET, Ledger's maid knocked on his door to check on him. There was no response. She entered the room and found him, unconscious and naked, on the bed. He did not respond to anything that she tried on him. He was pronounced dead by the paramedics at the scene. A recent interview with Mr. Ledger indicates that he was suffering from sleep problems due to his recent role in "The Dark Knight". He was only getting about 2-3 hours a night. Ambien pills were found near his body (or so the news claims). It is unclear whether or not he died from an accidental overdose or an allergic reaction, although suicide has been ruled out.

An autopsy report will be stated later on.

Yeah I just heard about that in a pop up window when I was checking my e-mail. It is allready on wikipedia, they say that when they found him dead there was a bottle of pills beside him.

Such a shame, too. Very talented actor who was also very dedicated to his work. So much unfair speculation on the news about him, and he can't defend himself. Insolent bastards. Some even had the audacity to claim that he committed suicide.

As am I. Should be a few hours away. Hard to think he's gone, but, we learned this same lesson from Steve (Crocodile Hunter) and Pavarotti.

Sorry about that. Mutual misunderstanding.

I was relating to how hard the nation was hit by Steve's death. For two weeks, CNN reported on him and how tragic of a loss it was. It really hit people hard. Russell Crowe, for instance, actually cried, something I've never seen him do before (and I've seen him do a lot of things, including hurling telephones and books at people he doesn't like).

You actually saw Russel Crowe cry?

I really liked a knight's tale and the patriot. But whatever happened to him suicide or not, may he rest in peace

RIP Aussie boy

RIP Aussie boy.

My favourite H-L move was Ned Kelly, he did a fine job of Australia's iconic Bush ranger.
