Let's not start another one of these threads again. Both games are fine and people play the one that is closer to what they like. Let's leave it there because these threads have the tendency to turn ugly.

I do not share melnibonian's concern bout the thread going ugly, BUT I share his belief that we should not start ANOTHER thread on this topic. There were a few such discussions and it would be much better just to continue one of the previous ones. It's not only a matter of keeping order on the Forum - I'm also almost sure that everything was allready said in that matter and it's no use to discuss it anew and anew. Wouldn't it be a bit boring?

A margin note: we, regular users, should try to keep some order on the Forums too, it's not only moderators job. The more threads on the same topic, the harder it's to find anything useful when you need it (by search).

You are correct, I'm not going to say that SH4 sucks and SH3 rocks, wouldn't dream of it!
In all seriousness I play both & SH3 is better, the very fact that I keep coming back is proof! These are probably the main factors:
No interaction with the crew.
Still far too many bugs.
I prefer the Atlantic theater, though many prefer the Pacific, that part though is purely preference!

I take it, SH4 is even more greedier concerning hardware/system than SH3 is?

If Ubi would release a Destroyer Command 2 we could be asking the much more important question.

Why are subs better than escorts?

Lads, this type of thread has been discussed before, do a search on the subject and I am sure you will come up with some useful data regarding both games. As well relations between players of SH3 and 4 have been quite civil as of late, which is really the way it should be isn't it.

We are fortunate to have two great games\theatres to sim in.

Lets move on from this type of discussion
