I dont have it... but this thread make me wonder... is a yellow skin yeasier to detect surfaced from a long distance? Real life? of course... but in the game i dont think that this could be implemented right...

If so, paiting the uboat for the color of the sea would be very interesting... :hmm:

yes, downloaded it exactly when you have released it.
The skin that I have lost is the oldest red hull skin ever made for sh3.
Now I am currently using the Koondawg one, but the lost of the other skin is a great loss for my skin collection

I've never used skins before, but now it seems that time came. But then... there is a horrible mess about the available skins. Is there any place one could have a look on all of them? Or if there is no such a place/thread/page, does any of you collected all the skins and is willing to share the collection?

But, you know, I don't use external camera view, so even if I installed skins, I couldn't enjoy them as much as they deserve to. Sometimes it pisses me of, cause I can't even inspect visually my boat after taking damage, but I can live with that. So there was no much use in installing skins... But recently I decided to give my brodge and deck much more rusty feel, so I decided to find a skin for that.

It's in Lutzow's skin vault, search for his name on these forums.

Edit: it was originally made by graF.

In the game skin colors make no effect on detection while cruising on the surface. I made a hot pink sub with the playboy bunny logo and a trucker girl on the side to prove this a while back, I didn't get shelled any sooner than I would've with the stock skin. It's just eye candy.

And to make a minor correction, Koon's subs, CapZap's subs and my own subs are at www.beyond-the-shadows.org/bts-mods/ We've also got Yamato9's as well and are willing to host anyone else who wants their work up there.
