When will these MODs work?

I downloaded capn scruvy's mod (the one that imrproves range using funnels or other structures w/ the stadimeter) and a mod that gives a large compass on the nav map. However, none of them seem to appear in the game. I ran the JSCGME (or whaterver it was) enabler and moved the mods from the left to the ride side. What am I doing wrong? I am playing the quick missions.
