Transfer of crewmen with SH Commander

Before leaving on one of my patrol, I lost one of my crewman going to another unit. It says thereafter that I will have to replace him during the load of the game. I am with GWX 1.3 and SH Commander 2.6. It never gave me the option to go get another crewman. How am I supposed to do that. Anyway I left on my seventh patrol with two crewmen less.

Please need some info/advice here

I think you get the replacement crew in game, not in SH commander. When I have a crew member transferred I just go to the file cabinet in the office that is to the left of the map and pick up a replacement there. Or i think there is a crew management file on the desk in the office too.
