What's the status on the Norwegian Operations Expansion Pack

I don't hear much about this expansion anymore. I see the website is still up, and the last date on the header reads Dec 31 2007. I have been really excited about NorOps eversince Safe-Keeper introduced it to us.

I surely hope it's still in the works

Hi Tuddley (and everyone else)!
Y'all will notice I've been absent from the subsim.com forums. This is because I've taken a bit of a break from SHIII after having played and edited nothing but this game for the longest time. I very much want to get back into it, though, and I am close to having something to release, namely the reworked city of Bergen and its surrounding county, as well as the lighthouses along the Norwegian coastline. This, and possibly some more stuff, will make up the first NorOps release.

I really am sorry this is taking so long. I very much want to see this finished, too, and I know y'all wait for it. Just give me time, and don't give up hope!

Thanks SK, this is great news !!!

It's understandable why you would want to go on shore leave for a while, you are putting a lot into this mod, and it's probably more work than I know of. But it's a relief to know you are still wanting to complete it.

To give a more detailed answer, I'm also working on the First Strike mod for Battlefield 2142, and it's taking a good deal of my time, especially now that we're close to release. I plan to take a break from it for this reason once we've gotten 1.2 out to the masses.

I'm currently experiencing a fit of NorOps motivation and am hurriedly installing the latest GWX version to keep said motivation alive. You can contribute by sending me cake.
