Default Adding Map Zones to Careers?? Added notes

Have been beating my head against a wall trying to add Map Zones (as seen in SH3 single missions) to the career map. (by mape zones I mean the round type) Does anyone have an idea how or if this can work? In my V-Mod I really need special map zones (and hopefully triggers) to flesh out the great empty spaces of the Pacific Ocean.

Also does anyone know how to insert added notes or messages into the mission statements in careers? In V-Mod I have radio news bilding the new alternative historical timeline, but since missions in careers tend to jump by several weeks or months (in the case of major sub upgrades) that news gets lost and chopped up. If there was some way to insert the previous 5 radio updates as each mission begins that would be what I am seeking. Is there any way to add something like this in the base picture area where you choose men and equipment?

Default well i can see know one else knows either

I spent the day trying to solve this - though I have spent many days prior to this working on this. Sadly it all seems to come down to this:

for career

MissionType=0
MissionDataType=1

for single mission

MissionType=0
MissionDataType=0

and yes, the two types are really just totally different games that are connected only in the game modes menu. It has always bugged me that Ubi did not allow Mod builders the ability to make use of the triggers and events switches found in single missions.
