free cam on u boat

lo all
was reading a thread on thispage about a free cam aboard our boats...and kaleuns wanting a mod compatible with gwx for this.....
am i being daft saying pressing the shift and f2 keys gives you free roam on board...or does this not work with gwx2.0???:hmm:

it does work but thats internal to the uboat
what they are on about is a free roaming "Deck" camera
as was in sh4 prior to the second patch

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Shift+F2 function is limited to the sub interior. The Free Cam Mod allows you to have free roam outside as well. I do not know about compatability of this mod between Stock, WAC, GWX, and all other Ubermods.

This has been modded and is a nice effect in SH4, 1.4
