That's looking good already...
someone told me once that patience is a virtue... I am not a virtuous man then...
SWC: I gave the idea, but don't forget that you are the artist here, so please feel completely free to do with it what you consider best. Thanks a lot my friend.

My first sub was an IXB I painted over from one of Koon's subs; the digi camo:
Vengance is Mine:

My current sub is a requested VIIC from CapZap, this is yet to be named - I'll leave that to him - and it's being painted under his direction.

CapZap's VIIC currently under construction:

Just testing the water to see what'll look best on this sub. The whole sub is a bright grey, nearly white, and what was requested was straight lines; vertical, horizontal, and diagonal. So far I'm still trying to get the right look on the design.

Had to post the pics to my first subs so that got re-arranged on you there Cap, sorry for that.

I'm happy with the background but as for the lines...well...I had to remove those. Wasn't exactly looking too great on that skin. Working on another idea you might like better

Whatever you decide is fine, and may I do a suggestion?
Try lines first and perhaps as another test solid shapes with defined edges (triangles, polygons and/or diamonds) all irregular.
Hope you give it a thought.
Since you gave me the honour of naming it, if it's Ok with you, I would like to call it "Atlantic Reaper" no matter the final outcome.

Need some inputs here;
a. carry the camo pattern down on the lower portion of the hull below the waterline -or-
b. paint everything below the waterline black

It doesn't look half bad, the only thing sticking out like a sore thumb is that completely white half...

IMO it would look much more impressive (more reaper-like) with the black hull.... :hmm:
But that's just an idea and so far it's looking very, very good!!
Just as a test, thicker lines, maybe?

In the middle of the Atlantic Reaper project (which is finished btw) I also finished my Mid Life Crisis VIIC. It's being uploaded to my site as this is typed up:

The bow shot close-up shows what's covering the skin above the waterline, it looks amazing when you look at this boat in camera mode

You should be called the "VIIC skins Machine"
Great job as always.
now that you mention that the Atlantic Reaper is finished, when will we be able to lay our hands on it?
