Hi to all, Ok
Deleted SH3 Folder in My docs Deleted SH3 Folder in Program files Deleted shortcut on desk top Deleted all trace of SH3 in registry, via regedit Restarted computer Placed store bought CD into drive, clicked install in first setup screen, lots of noise new screen offering option to repair, modify or remove, in other words I cannot reinstall the game cos some where its saying the game is still there even though its not! Anyone got any ideas R |

Only thing I can suggest is that if the new screen gives you an option to "remove" - go for it and see what happens then.
Just noticed you said you "deleted" your SH3 folder in Program Files. I think you actually must uninstall SH3 using the add/remove programmes routine in Control Panel. Deleting the folder isn't enough. Cheers, Von M |

Deleting files is not the same as uninstalling. Uninstalling removes registry entries that tell Windows about the program and the resources it uses. Use the remove option and see what happens. If that fails then use the repair option and that should reinstall the game for you.
