Hi, Guys.
DialsGatoCT_Fix_14.7z:
Author Anvart.
This mod is for ver. 1.4 SH4 game.
This mod fix dials mistakes in CT of Gato interior.
Mod is on my FileFront page in SH4ver14 folder ...
All mods in this folder are compatible with SH4 ver. 1.4 ...

Thanks, Anvart! What mistakes does it fix? I'm in a Gato right now but I haven't paid close enough attention.

It puts the gauges back in the gauge holders in the Gato's conning tower. Currently they are just empty black holes.

If you are having trouble finding this file, here's how:

When you get to Anvart's FileFront page you will see a black header bar with orange letters that says "File Directories". Below this, next to a small folder icon, click on "SH4ver14". The fix is currently the first file under the blue header bar with the words "Anvart's Files" and is called "DialsGatoCT_Fix_14.7z". Grab that and you should be good to go.

I figured it was just a mess up with them fixing one thing and losing another like the last patch with the scope animation.

But your to the rescue again as usual.

Time for you to make new work instead of fixing the game!

Question:
Even when using this fix, it appears that some of the textures are still missing in Gato-related subs (at least Gato and Tambor). The dials are fine, but the needles look as if they are untextured (plain white). Does anyone else see this?

It's OK.
Arrows are textured (Gato_Int_02.dds), but almost in white (slightly yellow, paper) color ...

Ah, OK...

I've had a break from SH4 for some time, so it's possible that this has been so since the first release. I do think it looks rather ugly though

Anyway, thanks for the mod!
