Longyearbyen

What are the Norwegians hiding there?

Dec8, -42. U-703, 11´th Flotilla.

I was some 80km from the port in the typical miserable weather for these parts when the radar warner picked up an signal, then one more and a third. Thats when I dived Only to have my SO start reporting fast screws. There were at least 9 warships, some fading out of range and some coming into range, but never fewer than 7. I turned West and left the area, was not going to risk my boat or the crew.

But what are they hiding there, must be something important?!

He is in South Shields this evening for a Dinner/Lecture (deadly serious now) and I'm quite looking forward to hearing his lecture (I reckon the theme might be the war) :hmm:
