Dynamic Waypoints
Hi,
has anybody an idea how to accomplish the following task: You have a convoy with a 'transit' tactic. Depending on some events (triggers) the convoy shall alter his course to avoid an hostile area (the location can also be dynamic). The target of the convoy should not be altered. Thanks. |

You might try using scripts to force the formation leader to set a new course and speed for a designated amount of time. Hopefully the rest will follow; if they don't you may need to use the same script on all of them. They should resume their assigned tactic once the script expires or is forced off.

I've considered this option as well. The problem is, that if the 'no-go' area is dynamic (eg. randomized) you can't use a static bearing/duration in a script...

Perhaps a workaround:
