help please with commands

i've had a few probs lately, so i apologise, cause here's another;

i call for ahead full and the needle drops to stop. i can use reverse, i can call for and up to ahead flank, but ahead full and it drops off to stop.

everything else appears normal. i have a good crew in the diesle compartment and a good watch crew: everybody is in their right place including the CE....
i'm baffled...?

many thanks

Are you using SH3 commander?

If so do you have "malfunctions and sabotage" checked ON?

if you answered yes to both of these questions - there is your problem, the U-boat is malfunctioning.

If you answered no to any of the above questions...

Are you ordering ahead full by pressing "4" on the keyboard or by clicking "ahead full" on the engine order telegraph?

what mods are you using?

have you personally replaced or modified any game files recently (done this action yourself)?

Defo a SH3 Cmdr malfunction.

You can reload via Sh3Cmdr to randomise the malfunctions again or (easier) set the speed manually by changing the telegraph to the knot-o-meter.

hi hunters

impatience got the better of me and i legged it high tc's back home.
went through all the hoo haa in port and set out again, not for one minute did i think to check the malfunctions thingy !

yes to sh3 commander

cause i'm out on patrol at present i can't remember about sabotage and malfunctions - probably malfunctions though.

key board no.4 responded the same as clicking ahead full on telegraph.

using gwx and have not tinkered with it.

have had probs in the past - recently, cause i saved under water 1- 3 times by accident. also entered game thru sh3 stock - not sh3 commander. did this the once ( for f-sake i think this sounds like i've gone a little stoopid out there !! )

dont suppose i can click off the malfunctions now i'm out n about again ?

anyway, thanks for responding - i'll keep an eye on things - or go have a little lie down in my bunk

cheers Kaleuns

you can also look out for increased fuel consumption (fuel leak), periscope malfunctions in the form of blurred vision out the scope, compressed air leaks, guns not working etc etc.

or you might go through a mission and never have a problem.

You can go to SH3 commander when you close SH3 and disable malfunctions and sabotage and then reload SH3. problem solved.

this is just an added realism portion of SH3 commander.

emjoy!
