Default 0% difficulty?

Hi,

after upgrading my PC I just noticed, that whatever I do, difficulty stays 0%. I`m using my old savegames from my old PC here, starting from a savegame in base. I copied my old install folder to the new machine too. I`m using SH3 with GWX.

Could it be, the copying wasn`t a that good idea? I could have sworn all was good until I tried a single mission to check out all was good after settign up the new machine.

Any ideas?

TIA

Z.

While in port you should be able to change the realism before you go on patrol

Absolutely,

but whatever I check or uncheck, difficulty stays at 0 %. With my settings, I should get 82 %.

Maybe this is only a graphical glitch, I`ll try a new start of my current patrol and immediately sinking own ships in harbour and ending the patrol, when I get negative renown all should be well.

You would still earn renown at 0% realism. For every 100 points of potential renown you would get 25.

@ jimbuna:

How so? I saved and copied the whole SH3 folder in "My Documents". Did I miss something?

I sank a french tramp just in La Rochelle and got -15 renown. What does this tell, as I don`t know how SH3 handles this.

TIA

No, I meant...are you saving your 'corrected/changed' settings before continuing to load the game ?

How did you copy? Transfering the folder "my documents" by network, external harddrive or by a cd-rom? If by cd-rom, is the files write-protected then?
