Default Torp not loading

I dont think that ever happened to me before , the torpedo compartment is full of skillfull sailors , even the officer is torpedo man , the seas are reasonably calm , im not on silent gear , and it will not reload the torps from reserwes to inside of the boat.

Why do i have to populate the bow torp room in order to reload the stern torpedo?

I managed to do it and continue mission , but question remains... :hmm:

I have had the same situation a few times. I am not sure if it's a bug or if it's part of the 'malfunctions and sabotage' setting I have enabled. From my experience it will stay that way to the end of your tour. It is very frustrating I know.

Rather obvious question, but do you have auto reload seleceted on the weapons screen?

From the picture in first post I see that option "Auto loading" is not selected. Check this option and that's will be fine.
And also the message "Not enough crew in bow torpedo compartment" as I may see on your picture, you have not the crew in Bow torpedo compartment.

Fact of the matter is , i like the option to be unchecked-enabling me to choose between torpedo types depending of weather. I pick and drag the torps of my desire , and usualy they load with no probs. Talking about malfunction and sabbotage thingy , it may be something to do with it. They did load succesfuly after i added few sailors to the bow compartment.
Question is - why wouldnt they load in the first place , when newer before they had problem , even with less experienced crew?
They were all in tip top condition , with good morale.
