I know it's not a 100K, but I worked hard for this 72k on my 2nd patrol with my new career!
I had to take out 3 Tribal Class DD's and a V&W. I can't ever seem to sneak in, but with the escorts gone, they were running scared! Now I can go to bed happy! |

Rescued Bismarck
I'm just back into harbour... from rescueing Bismarck. (14th patrol)
136961 BRT including Rodney and King Georg V.! My intend was to attack the involved carrier and as I had enough ammunition left, maybe going for some of it's escorts... But suddenly I stumbled upon this convoy... ![]() You know ? All these big ships and ... TANKERS(!) ![]() The smallest one was a medium sized tanker with 9276 BRT. This was my best run so far in a VIIB, although I had 2 duds with perfect impact. OK, Rodney went up like a rocket after 2 hit's so that makes 18000BRT per torpedo. Good ratio, isn't it?
