Being a real dummy when it comes to computers ( well i struggle through somehow) can someone please explain what antalasing settings and anisotropic filtering do. I have an AMD 4400 with a nivida 7800 gtx and 2mg of memory. Is using say x8 instead of a x4 much different to the look of the game . and do you gentlemen think my system will cope ok.
Thank you in advance |

AA reduces jagged edges on 3d objects - it makes everything look smoother
AF increases the amount of detail on rendered objects/sceanes in the distance. Judging by you spec I would start by setting both to 4x see how the performances is in game - then go form there. |
