Another QED. I suppose it is allowed to write "God is great" on a weapon, but not on a football.

We've had that Saudi Flag problem allready in 2006 during the World Championship.
Then, a Hamburg Brothel painted all the flags of the partaking nations on the wall of its building. The Saudis complained about that, to which the brothel manager replied that he was puzzled because the majority of his clientele came from arab countries.

As if the idea was to insult. Get an infidel to paint over it or remove the paint.

Screw soccer, pretext hunting seems to be a much better sport.

Sometimes I think we should leave there and elsewhere completely, build a wall around such countries, close the door, hide the key, delete all recordss in our libraries about them and leave them to themselves. Such primitivity of mind is so very much discouraging and, in the end, annoying. During the Tsunami desaster I remembered that some locals of islamic origin refused to get down their damn hill and down to the column of trucks with aids for some mindf.....g pseudo-religious reason. They were lucky that I was not in command. Instead of leaving the column two days and night there without being of use and the trucks able to do more transports, I would have shrugged my shoulders, orderd the trucks to a place where they would been more welcomed, and leave the stoneage philosophers alone.

One really has all reasons there is to finally loose patience with this kind of stuff. "culture" - pah... It's not worth the life of a single Western soldier - our soldiers are just too good for that primitive world.

So they don't want American footballs. Okay, then do not give them footballs. Let them play with dirt and rubble. Very, unbelievably, incredibly, monstrous, big deal.

I thought the picture was low-rez. I was going to comment that the ball was so cheap you couldn't even read the blurred words properly, you just had to assume what was supposed to be written there.

I guess it's that thing about women being guilty of rape by enticing men with visible skin. To avoid mass-rapes, we cover the women. A picture of a ball is just screaming for you to imagine yourself kicking it. If it has the flag of Saudi Arabia on it, you'll have to imagine yourself kicking it aswell. So, to protect you from your lowest instincts, we'll cover the balls.

That was the 2006 ball edition. This year's ball either doesn't have the Israeli flag on it at all or at least not next to the Saudi's, heaven forfend!
