VS the Sargo class sub?
For example in the Gato you can see the ballast guages taking on water and expeling it in the high waves but it dosn't happen in the Sargo class I am using now. Does anyone know what controls this? |

It sounds like your dealing with the submarine interior files. As im sure you know, theres a DAT, a zon, and a sim for most files. I beleive this holds true for the interior files.
Its my beleif that the interior gauges, are in the sim file. The reason is, alot of the interior gauges were screwed up in SH3, and the fix for them , was all hex edits to the interior sim files. So my assumption is, the same holds true for SH4. |

Because I can not Hex edit since my stroke the numbers get confused and garbled when I see them all together like that.

Im not sure how its done anyway to be honest. I think this is one of those things where it takes a hex editing jockey like Anvart to sort out. If the interior files bug you, you can always swap it for another interior via the subs cfg file. Worked all the time in SH3, i imagine it would work just as well here. The only cavet being you have to swap an interior that has the same number of rooms as the orginal. For example, you can't use an Sboat interior in a gato because it has no conning tower room. You could haver use a salmon/sargo's ill bet.

Just found property value's for over 100 dials and none of them except the telegraphs and what not list what they are they are just numbered.
I think I can and will give up on this one unless someone knows how to do it or figure it out. |
