Default I am on the edge

I set AA and AF to 4X in catalyst control centre and after a few saves it always reverts back to 2X AA and 2X AF . I have tried diffrent drivers , ati tray tools , diffrent settings , environment effects on and off etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc ATi X800 pro graphics card , 2.4 pentium /400meg FSB , 1 gig of ram , i am on the edge of giving up until i get a new computer .

@Sober - are you sure it's the drivers and not the game itself that keeps changing the filters?

Thanks for the response , its not the games fault my system is crap . Anyway i have just made my resolution 1152 x 864 and left the AA and AF at 2X and it looks Just as good as the 1024 x 768 resolution with 4X AA and 4X AF . I have only just thought of this believe it or not . Still the only pc game i own .
