Does anyone else have this problem: while in port cannot dismiss any crew members. Using TM 1.4, with Realistic crew conf. Deleted Realistic crew and still cannot dismiss any member of the crew. I was able to do it before, and was wondering if Patch 1.3 had something to do with it.

I am sailing in S-37 out of Manila, reduced my crew down to 4 officers and 37 ratings; no problem.

I used to just drag them to the left edge of the screen, which prompted a message to dismiss.

That should do it. At least it works with vanilla + patch 1.3. So, if there is a problem it's with a Mod you have installed.

far as i know, you can only do that on ending a patrol and resupplying in port. you can take on replacements as well for those who got fired
