I checked, rechek, tried several times...still no cammo texture showing
Would it be because I am running GWX 1.03....?
Or one of my mods is incompatible?

As soon as I find out how to insert a pic in a message I will show all my enabled mods in the JGSME

Um, no. This skin is textures only so it is compatible with every version of SH3 available, besides, I've used this in GWX 1.03 myself. Infact the link at the top of the page is specifically for GWX 1.03.

Possible, but should only affect the skin if further mods are activated after the skin has been added.

If you can, please post the Explorer Tree (like I did) showing your Ubisoft Folder & the MODS folder (with IXD2 Camo expanded). Use PrtScr to capture the screen, then open an image editing suite (any), create a new document and then goto Edit & choose paste.

Everything is right! Do you also see those textures in your SH3>data>Textures>TNormal>tex folder?

What mods do you have enabled in JSGME?
What is NEW SH3 Environment v1.0?

This has got to be a mod conflict.

What about this, do you have Low Textures enabled in the main SH3 Options menu? This will make SH3 look at the LowRes textures folder, not the TNormal folder.:hmm:

I'm really running out of ideas here.

Last thing to try is roll back SH3Cmdr, remove/disable all other mods. Then add the Skin, enable it, test and if it works, keep adding the other mods to see which affects it.

I'm struggling here my friend, I have never heard of anyone experiencing this before.

Yes I have LOW Textures enabled....cause I has such a dropped of FPS wheb in Harbourg it just was a struggle to sail.....

So I suppose I will never be able to use your lovely texture!!!

My active MODS:

New SH3 environement.....I got rid off...Was a mod to make SH3 with some SH4 environment, but I never enabled it cause TA1.3 seafloor mode.

So I suppose you found the answer now......

Hold on.

Firstly, if you are having really bad FPS in harbour, enable the GWX - Lite Harbour Traffic. This should remove all the traffic except your escort. Give that a go and see how things improve.

Also, remove the Seafloor mod, this really drains FPS and how often do you see the seabed?

If they improve enough, try the High Textures option, see how that is.

If you still have trouble, all is not lost.

Just copy the files in the IXD2 Camo skin into the other 'Lowres' textures folder. But try the above first.

You might find this interesting. During it's creation, GWX made the choice to 'pack' all the textures for all the objects into files called DATs. This was to improve loading & performance. In doing so, there are now no LOW RES textures left for the game to use. SO the only thing you are struggling with is the harbour traffic.

I have removed, Seafloor mod, and enabled "GWX Lite Harbour traffic.....
Swith to High res....and It works ...I know have a beautiflu cammi skin on my IXD2...
