1. The Great Wall of China
2. Petra in Jordan 3. Brazil's statue of Christ the Redeemer 4. Peru's Machu Picchu 5. Mexico's Chichen Itza pyramid 6. The Colosseum in Rome 7. India's Taj Mahal Sadly, I have seen none of them. http://www.cnn.com/2007/TRAVEL/07/06...ers/index.html http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,288541,00.html Edit: I had two of them on the first line.

I hate the fact that some stupid jesus statue got elected. IMO The Strip in Las Vegas is way bigger wonder than any of these new ones except the great wall.

It's funny that the Great Pyramids didn't make it.

It's a fraud. They're all old. Only the Christ is new. And if they're supposed to be old, then the Christ is misplaced.
Which one do you want? New wonders or New Old wonders? I thought they'd go for non-mediterranean stuff, let's see what other people built, but then there's the Colosseum right there.
