Default [REL] JAP Aircover shown on you NAV MAPS

Okay what this does is it gives you the exact location of every Jap
Airbase in the game and makes them show up on your Sub's Nav map.

I also with the help of Captain Cox made 2D images of Airbases with
a Flag of that country.

This MOD will show you where and when an Airbase is taken by the
JAP's and when I release the second part of this MOD it will also
Show you when the Allies have control of the Airbase as well.

This Mod is a combination of ingame reference and Historicle
reference for Airbases times of who controls what VS our in game
briefings and the big NAV map that comes with the game. I removed
Airbases that were not on the big map and added a couple to match
our briefings like in the Solomons and Added one for IWO-Jima because
that is the whole reason why we took that Island in the first place and to
honer the men that died there just for that purpose.

This is JSGME ready but you (MUST BE IN PORT) with the game turned
off to apply it to your game.

Now you have 2 VS of this MOD VS1 is the name of Airports with more
complex images and VS2 is much simpler with just a Symbol for the AirBases
but it does say SAB, NAB or LAB for small Normal or Large Airbase.

Enjoy guys and I am working on the Alied one as you read this
and also a version that only shows a RED or Gree or Blue Plane
instead of the wording.

Here is the link to the Jap Portion of this MOD VS1:

And as requested by several people here is VS2 with screen shots below:

Here is a link to both JAP and Allied NAV Map mod's combined:

Link to latest and last and best VS for a long time guys!

Default Working on that VS right now actualy

So there will be a choice between 2 MOD's. One with the Names of the Airbases and a 2D Image of the bases LG NOR and SM or just a Colored Plane Symbol for the Airbases and no way to know it's size.

Thanks to Captain Cox again for the 2D Images and his help.

leovampire, I in-counted a problem with your mod last night. Loaded up as you said the details came up on the map alright but my nav tool would not work and the sub went into start stop start stop. After I un-installed your mod every thing went back to normal, any chance you may know what caused the problem?

Default No I havn't a clue

What do you mean start stop start stop? And in my own game all the
NAV tools work okay and I install all my mods just like everyone elses
on my own game to make sure it works okay with JSGME.

I will ask Redwine and Bindo how it is working for them and see if they
encountered any problems.

No problems for me. When I fire up the game and descent to the sub (after leaving the office) I have a slight delay when I try to zoom in on the navmap. This happens only once after every "fire up". No further problems on my side.

I love this mod, and I agree with switch.dota about the text, the symbols look alot better imo.

Leo, you rock.

Default Bases

I started a new campaign with your mod and found that the Japanese have airbases in the Solomons on 8 December 1941!

Default for that I went by the original set up in the Airbase

File because the Hanira port there in the game is controled by the Japs that early in the other game layers as well.
