Default colours on the nav map

Hi.
Just a little question because I didn't find anything related.
I use the map version 2 mod but I find all the stuff you can draw there too dark, especially in the red light mode.
Is it possible to set the colour for those things somewhere ?

Thanks, i.

I've been hoping to find a way to do this. Haven't heard of anything yet.

You can edit the red light TGa with Photoshop or any other program that can open the TGa format. All you have to do is increase the brightness a little bit and that is it. I did it myself and now it looks even better.
If you want, I can upload it to FF later for you. Let me know if you are interested.

I think you are referring to the Night_Filter.tga, right ? I wanted to edit the colour of the lines of the maptools to give them a better contrast on the navmap, especially under red light but also in the bright light view.
If you meant that, I would be interested, yes

I think I MAY have found something:
The two files MapTools.tga and MapTools2.tga contain some coloured fields and one of those is grey. Perhaps we have to edit those to something lighter or greenish, this might look better ingame.
Cannot test it yet, will do that tomorrow.

Yes ichso, that's what I meant.
Let me know if you succeed in editing those files you found and if you want me to upload the night filter TGA.
I hope you solve your problem.
