Default [REQ]They are too deep

While viewing ships in museum, I noticed that both USS North Caralina and HMS Norfolk are positioned too deep in the whater. How can I, or someone else fix their draft?

Most likely with the Minitweaker, have not looked in to it personally. But check this old thread it might give you some hints.

Not sure if someone has done tweakfiles for the any other ships then the Subs, so in worst case you might have to look in to that as well.

The parameter you should look for is
Quote:
SurfaceDepth=xxxxx;meters
etc etc

Small tut on doing a Minitweaker file here

I used to hex dat files changing coordinates of nodes and 3d parts, but does it work in the same way with the draught?

I think the depth is set for the preset class depth in order to go with the torpedo hit/damage...
