Wow, I have the exact opposite problem. I'm in 1944 of a campaign and I've not even been depth charged ONCE. Maybe its a bug on my system? It makes the game rather boring.....

Redwine, I'm thinking of reducing the DC effectiveness all the way back to really realistic levels because the Japanese are still killing me with alarming frequency. Are there any drawbacks to doing this that you've perhaps noticed while testing?

Also, when we worked on SH3 the assumption was always that the deadly range was only up to the minimum radius, and that the maximum radius was for decreasing levels of damage. Did you find out that this isn't the case and that the deadly range is indeed variable and random between the minimum and maximum radii?

This happens into stock too, the reduced rate of sink, and the reduced depth precision can rise up the effect of this issue.

But, the reduced radius must minimize it...

I note, this happens often when more than a DD is in attack run over you, then the DD reduce speed to avoid a colission, and then the own depth charge cause damage.

I remember too many time ago i made a test mission with a single DD, and this not happens often.

Can you test on your installation, into a single mission against a single DD ?
