Default U-Boat Commander's Handbook - 1943

This may have already been posted but I didn't see it earlier... While doing an internet search, I found an electronic version of the 1943 Submarine Commander's Handbook (U.Kdt.Hdb) posted on the Historical Navy Ship Association's website, translated into English. I haven't had a chance to read all 65 pages, but it looks fairly good even if some of the tactics had become outdated by that time due to Allied advances in radar. The link is http://hnsa.org/doc/uboat/index.htm#par150.

Bought a copy of this at Amazon.ca, technical but interesting read.

If you do read it... and listen to the things that it does not say... you can almost re-title it, "SH3 Modder's Guide" LOL.

Should mention I paid just over $10.00 Canadian when I bought it from Amazon, well worth it

Hey Doc...

Just as an FYI. I found this little freebie PDF-writer gem the other day. Works very well, is free, and doesn't add any taglines to the output.

I have to admit, I was a little surprised the thing worked as advertised.

I bought a copy from Amazon.com as well, when I first got into sub games. It's a good introduction for someone not familiar with the tactics of a U-boat.
