This is what I am getting after returning to Lorient in May 1942. Perhaps my exceptional tonnage score forced ze Britishers to capitulate, ja?
It means, however, that my tonnage score for my final patrol 19 isn't counted, and although I can continue playing into patrol 20, if i save my game and attempt to reload it later, i find that I cannot. My career is terminated as a result of the war being over. I can reload a point in patrol 18 and continue form there, but the same thing occurs as soon as i get back to base. Is this a known issue? |

Are you using SH3 Cmdr? :hmm:
If so, you might have realistic career length enabled. However, 1942 seems a little short to me ![]() |

I had something similar In Hearts of Iron 2, it's 1941 I have the US converted to Fascism, crushed any dissenters, built up the Army and Fleet, and ready to join the axis. My massive legions are massed on the Canadian and Mexican borders. There I was ready to change history thoroughly and suddenly Hitler has a heart attack, keels over and dies and World Peace breaks out
![]() talk about dissapointing ![]() still it's really weird when things like that happen, no Idea why it would happen in SH3 though |

![]() Go to C:\Documents and Settings\****\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\xxxx Open the latest careers cfg Look for the line Renown=500.000000 Finished=false WarOver=false < yours should say true Just change to false and save. FYI for SH3Cmdr users, if you run SH3Cmdr then you don't need to edit any files. All you need to do is select the career in question in SH3Cmdr, which will appear as retired, click on the status, click yes, and you'll be back at work again.
