Default Overclocking ATI without traytools

Hi, I am using ATI tray tools to overclock my old X700 card & speed is up by around 20% and working well, however I would prefer not to have this running in the background as there are already things running & I am trying to free up memory etc.
Is there a way of setting up the card to run at the higher speed without a running process?
Many Thanks,
Reece.

ATT uses 3.6MB of memory, that´s negligible. You can save quit a bit of memory by disabling certain unneeded Windows XP services. More information here:

Thanks Gizzmoe, I used to have an nVidia card & you could overclock from the settings menu after making a small adjustment in the register, would be nice to have this with ATI cards, but then this was probably a running process as well just not shown on taskbar. I do use msconfig.exe and have a number of services unticked such as:
Automatic Updates
Wirless zero configuration
Portable media serial number
Uninteruptible power supply
Smart Card
Smart Card Helper
Will be interesting to see what else I can disable, there is quite a list! How I would love to get rid of the "Sticky keys" process, although I have it ticked as not to use it still comes back to life for some reason! I will report back if I find anyting new to add!
Cheers.

I got rid of quite a few services but there are many others listed, all enabled:
Quote:
Application Layer Gateway
Application Management
Background Intelligent Transfer Service
Clipbook
COM+ System Application
COM+ Event System
Cryptographic Services
DHCP Client
DNS Client
Logical Disk Manager
MS Software Shadow Copy Provider
Network DDE
Network DDE DSDM
Net Logon
Network Connections
Network Location Awareness (NLA)
NT LM Security Support Provider
Plug & Play
Removable Storage
Remote Registry
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator Yes (needed)
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Yes (needed)
Security Accounts Manager
Secondary Logon
Shell Hardware Detection
SSDP Dicovery Service
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
Telephony
Terminal Service
Telnet
Upload Manager
Universal Plug and Play Device Host
Volume Shadow Copy
Web Client
Windows Management Instrumentation
Windows Management Instrumentation Driver Extensions
Workstation
I do run a network & both access the Internet via ethernet hub & router, so a few of these are probably needed, If you know any that I could be disabled please let me know, I can see that the reply would be quite time consuming so if it's going to be a pain let it go, I certainly understand & I will do some searching on the net.
Many thanks,
Reece.

If anyone is reading this I have updated the data from the link to an rtf (wordpad) file, these settings are for Window XP Pro & Home where applicable:

Cheers.

Note: This is data obtained from various sources on the net, not my own!
