Bdu messages

For the past couple days (in-game) i've been getting strange messages from Bdu asking me to join in an attack on a convoy somewhere near iceland!.. This is what they said!..

So i can't quite figure out what they mean by "Form a patrol line from 20 to 25 West south of Iceland".. Has anybody else gotten strange messages as such?..

The messages in GWX are actual messages of the war. They're there for realism and for giving you a better feeling of the U-Boat life. They're not for you to obey them.

Eye candy to help with the immersion in the game

I'm sure I got a strange one from Bdu asking me if Bernard has unblocked the toilet yet.

No wonder I can not find anything in this barren sea when I get messages like that.

No further comment.

Those messages are for immersion and don't include your boat even if you have the same number. (I once saw a message about a u-boat being sunk, and it was my number! Since I considered this was a coded message to me that my crew needed to be executed I went to work like a good little Nazi. Boy, did Doenitz let me have it when I got back to Lorient!)

The only thing you need to remember is to be more aggressive.

However, there are too darn many of them (the telegraph going off every five minutes) That was in TWG. Haven't tried the new GWX yet. If that's correct, then my movies would be filled with telegraphed messages (if I want to make it realistic, and there would probably be about 30 sections to it.:rotfl: )
