Default 25 years ago this same day...

HMS Coventry and STUFT Atlantic Conveyor were sunk. The first by the Argentine Air Force and the latter by Naval Aviation.

My respects for both sides´ casualties.

I saw an 'Atlantic Conveyor' in port here in Halifax a few months ago... it caused me to do a double-take and rush home to google it. Apparently a new one was built after the war.

A lot of ordnance (choppers and the like) went down with the 'Conveyor' which meant our marines had to walk across the island (yomp)

I'd just like to show my support for Maggie.

She was a tough broad in the right place at the right time. Her son didn't get any of the good traits, which leads to be believe that courage is a recessive trait for Brittons.

For Americans too, unfortunately.
