Award Retracts

Greeting fellow Kaleuns. I just did a little research on the U-Boat Front Clasp and found it wasn't established until May 15 1944. I recieved the Front Clasp on a patrol I just completed, but its only 1940. Is there a way I can fix this error? Good Hunting!

Use SH3Cmdr to award medals - it sticks to the historic award conditions and dates.

Is there a way to retract a medal awarded to me? Because the Front Clasp shouldn't be established until 1944.

Just to clarify, have you actually *awarded* the medal to a crewman? If not, then what is the problem? Simply ignore what SH3 dishes out and award via SH3Cmdr.

If you have, however, awarded the clasp, simply use SH3Cmdr's "Autofix" feature to remove it. Or you can remove it manually from each crewman in exactly the opposite way as you do to award it (or any other medal/badge).

The problem is I was awarded the UBoat Front Clasp. Which isn't correct.

As I've said elsewhere, SH3 does not follow historic availability dates. No matter what file tweaking you do, you will not get the award to act the way it should.

Solution? Live with it, or manually remove it every time SH3 awards it to you (hardly worth it IMHO).
