Any of you IT bods know what might cause programs to drop to windows whilst still running? It's like pressing the windows key, when I'm not heheh
SHII does it Americas Army does it I don't have to be pressing any keys at the time for it to happen and programs remain running and accessible on the taskbar. ![]() I thought maybe turning off my auto update for ZoneAlarm/ZAspyware detector, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. I feel a format coming on...

I used ZA until that last recent update it had made my computer actually reboot on it's own....uninstalled it and haven't had a problem since...you probably can isolate it to some program, unfortunatley simply disabling it wont fix it ..uninstalling it does usually...a far better way to go if your thinking of re-format anyways...just un-install stuff first little by little and test.
Could also be related to improper drivers or video settings. |

Ah well, I'm going to be installing and setting up my adsl modem/router combo soon, anyway.
I'd prefer to get a new CPU before formatting though, perhaps I'll be able to stick it out till the tnd of the month? Then it's new bios / mobo + video drivers, os & hardware install, all at once ![]() Depends on how often I get this annoyance creeping in. Or how lazy I am hehe.
