It's still happening today although it's become a little more PC. IIRC hasn't it developed into, Titanic & Take Away.

What are your thoughts Stabiz.:hmm:

I haven't messed with the leaked patch. Thought I'd wait for the official one. Just started another campaign as the Venetians.

Well I tried the unofficial patch and got ctd's. It was probably because I'd altered the turn times as mentioned earlier in this thread. Ah well just have to wait for the official patch eh?

Has anyone noticed how short the bills are that the billmen are carrying? I used to do medieval re-enactment and I've used a bill(allthough the German Greatsword was my weapon of choice)A bill should reach all the way to the ground.

Just me being picky I guess.

Just one questions for all you Medieval 2 players.

Should I buy it?

Edit: Of course, I'd be glad to buy the expansion when it comes out, soon...

In all honesty if you liked the first MTW, you'll love it. It is a bit buggy but there is a patch coming out soon, and to be honest it's not so buggy that you'll hate it.

To be frank, I've never player the first one. In fact, not even one of the entire series. Sure, I played demo's, but never a full game. Although I considered buying Shogun when it came out.

Will try it after the expansion pack and see the results. In the meantime, it's Supreme Commander for me.

Edit: On the other hand, I'll buy it first thing Monday.

I it just me or has the TW modding community completely lost focus? It seems there are hundreds of mods in development, some of them almost identical, but hardly anyone gets finished.

The last one I enjoyed was RTW - now where would I have to turn to if I wanted something as good for MTW2?

Ive been using Anno Domini, its still beta but its been with only a few CTDs. Focuses in realism and creating historical feeling wih different elements. The next patch will propably be a big step for this mod. Another im following is MTRealism but it seems to take sometime.

Official patch 1.2, final version, is out, replacing the leaked (and buggy) version). readme says 650 MB, but it only is 613 MB.

Meh, it's ok. I could never reach and conquer the Americas in the name of the Moors! (Middle-East). I did, however, conquer all the others.

Rome: Total War got me the Greek Cities, and my Spartan Hoplites destroyed every empire on the map.
