Default Seagulls work for the japanese, yet the Japs don't know it...

I play with exterior cam enabled because I like the eyecandy, and many times I've noticed the seagulls' tendency to keep circling around my sub while I'm submerged.
In fact, it's so obvious that -even without the orange marker- I'd be able to locate my own submerged sub using the exterior cam anytime when near the coast. Good thing the Japs haven't figured this out yet.

Yikes, thanks for pointing that out. I wonder if its coded into the game that the Japanese escorts can spot you this way...... Only one way to find out I guess :P

JuJu,
Only thing worse is if they crapped on your periscope lens while you were starting a torpedo setup on a Japanese Convoy........

It was planned for implementation , but more important features always get in the way

How deep are you? Reason I ask and I'm sure not modelled into the game, seagulls hang out around the stern of ships because the props churn up fish and crap off the bottom the gulls like to eat. Anyway, I do not think the AI are that smart to figure out there is a sub under the flying gulls. In fact, most of the AI are not smart at all:rotfl:
