Default OT! Forceware 158.16 Winxp32bit is out!

Supposed to be a real nice set of drivers. These are for WinXP 32bit only. No sign of Vista or x64 drivers yet.

It's not bogus. These are real and will be the release driver for the 8600 series cards tomorrow.

Considering the last official drivers for non-8800 cards running WinXP was 93.71, I'm gonna have to agree with the bogus assessment. Huge jump in versions - even 8800 cards running Vista were only in the low 100s.

Well, I'll admit I was wrong - looks like they are at 158.xx now for all 8xxx cards. But what's up with that? Did they decide that 7xxx owners aren't worth their time anymore? They haven't had a recent 7xxx driver release in ages it seems.

I just installed a 158 driver for my 7950 - but its vista 32bit, it has an updated control panel too, so i think it wont be long for a new xp version

Has anyone seen the release notes for the new drivers? The link on the Nvidia site for the release notes only leads to a 15 Byte file ...

Would seem that the 7 series users are still on hold. There is no new drivers for the 7 series as of right now for XP.

That is exactly the problem: The PDF is empty / corrupted.
