Not just one postal service in there

Depends how it was sent from US
Sea is usually around 6 weeks and Air a couple of days

Also depends if despatched the minute you ordered it

Who knows - your original order may have been the second , unordered , book Steed got :hmm:

@ Bigboywooly - Hard luck mate. They wont give us uniforms, paperwork(bills ect) but still manage to afford to be able to put wide screen tv's up everywhere?

Kind of a bit loosly related

I ordered a T shirt from America a couple of weeks ago, it arrived today. I always wear a large. I'm not big, I just like baggy shirts.

I ordered a large as usual and imagine my horror on receipt of said shirt, to find that you could host Glastonbury in it

Is this a c#ck up or is American large really that big?

Going to wash it 4 or 5 times on a really hot wash and keep my fingers crossed.

Yes I know mate
Was my depot that sent out those 2500 TV's
Project light

:rotfl:

As to American sizes yes they are a lot bigger
I usually have an XXL here as like them baggy too but am only an XL at most in the US
All my NFL stuff is only XL

Sorry to hijack your thread Kapitan :rotfl:

I ordered a Microsoft optical mouse March 31st, because of the free shipping.

April 5th UPS reported that they had dropped if off to the United States Postal Service in Chicago, due to it's small size and my rural area.

They gave me a tracking number, but that was Easter week-end, right?

I haven't seen it yet ... that's two weeks today and counting ... but usually I get stuff in just three or four days here in the states.

I did say sometimes
I have ordered stuff from Hong Kong and the US that has been here in less than a week
Other times has taken a lot longer
Even had stuff in the UK that takes ages to get here
Tracking no or not

The postal lottery
Esp these days as so many couriers involved

Though I suspect your subsim book was read by all in the depot before finding its way to you :rotfl:

Well, I recently ordered some DVDs from the UK which were dispatched on a Friday. I picked them up from the local PO on the Monday.

But that's only ever happened once. Usually, mail from London to Canberra via Royal Mail takes 4 business days, so this was an awesome achievement.

Compare it to mail from the US which can take anywhere between 7 and 14 business days via USPS. :hmm:

My experience anyway.

Obviosly anything in the mail going or coming from the USA must be from terrorists and therefor is Anthrax or a bomb, so it takes a bout a month or two longer to get to you then usual.. :p

I got my one within a week of Neal posting on a thread he was sending it to me free, and that's what I call top notch service from the boss.

The back up book turned up a week after the first one which was raffled off to UK members.

On the whole post around here has improved a lot, today's post turn up 7.30 AM. I must have bigboywooly doing the rounds here with his sailors hat on.
