Just shot down my first Japanese aircraft.
First smoke started coming out from the tail. As it came closer I could see it was on fire. Then a huge primaray explosion as my AA gunner hit the fuel tank. A bunch of debris came off the plane, then the wingtip split off and went spinning into the ocean. Finally the whole plane came down about 75 yards ahead of the sub. I wish I had screenies to show you, but I was too blown away watching it. Forget the Pearl Harbor movie, this was the sh**t. On thing I noticed when leaving port: Someone is driving that supply truck way too fast! Probably some 18-year-old kid. Bernard's nephew Willie. Didn't we just get bombed there? He's gonna hit a crater and die. "Willie, slow down!" ![]() Just something to keep in mind if you're out walking around the base at Pearl.

I noticed a few things seem to move too fast for my taste.
The big thing I dont like is the smoke. It seems to jet off of fires like the wind was blowing at 400knots. If the wind is calm, say 0-4 m/s it looks good but any higher than that looks too fake. I suspect that the speed of things like this i.e. smoke, clouds, the truck, will be toned down eventually.
