Default Copy protection and daemon tools

I've read on here that part of the copy protection ends up with taking the eyes out of your crews heads if it detects you're not running a legit copy. I have a legit copy (and i'll prove it with pictures if i really have to) but i am running daemon tools. Does daemon tools get detected by the copy protection even if youre using a legit copy of the game? I dont fancy having to uninstall it everytime i want to play.
I always use the dvd to run it and not a you-know-what.

Nope, it doesn't. I'm running deamon too and SHIV works like a charm, no eyes popping or whatever.

Though I have the feeling the crew is eyeballing me behind my back sometimes, specially when I begin what they call 'another brainless charge' at a lonesome cargo ship. Gives me the creeps. Great that they put feature that in, wouldn't want to play this game without it anymore.

I highly doubt it, I have both daemon and other tools installed and never experienced those graphical eye issues.

Yep same here.... legit copy, no daemon tools or other virtual drive software, and I only have NERO on my machine being as it came from the OEM with it.

My crew looses thier eyes frequently if I have played for a few hours without a reboot.
