Default Quick question for any german speakers

Seeing as I've taken the next big step and turned off the external camera I find myself spending a lot more time under the water at 1x TC looking at the ceiling waiting for the next depth charge attack. I also play with German speech. As a result I've noticed two things. Firstly the navigators voice is different depending on which officer is at the station which is a nice touch that I never comprehended before. The other is when we're being pinged. I see the translation in the subtitle box but then theres a second voice that whispers something after that. I'm guessing its something like "this mad bastard is gonna get us all killed!" Any enlightenment?

What mod are you using?
I use NYGM and my crewman says: "wann ist es endlich vorbei?" (When will it end?) Could that be what you mean?

GWX uses it also. Personaly I turned it off, it just sounded so defeatistic.

Thats probably it. Using GWX as well. I thought it sounded cool. As i said I never noticed it when I was zipping about at high TC.

I personally am not an advocate of playing the game entirely at x1 tc....but you hear so much more the times you are at that speed level

I only play at 1x TC when in the process of an attack. On them and me! Generally spend my patrol at a min of 64x until I sight something or get a contact report. Until I turned off the ext camera I never realised how much I was using it. Popping up occasionally to peek at the escorts. Now I have to play realtime listening to the hydrophone report and plotting the escort paths near me and trying to turn constantly. Dare I say it I enjoy trying to escape more than sinking them
