Default Sunrise and sunset time adjustment for position

Hi,

How do I adjust Andy Pratt's table for your position? All the values are apparently for Greenwich, England, and I'm crusing off the Port of Spain.

Thanks

I am not sure how this table you're talking about works but in SH3/GWX there are two times. The GMT (the one you see on the clock) and the local one (the one you see if you let the cursor on the clock). I hope this is helpful

Ok, so if the chart says the sun set at 18:26 GMT, 28 March 1941, then, I should look at a map and figure that being off Trinidad, I am four timezones to the west, so I should expect the sun to set at 22:26 GMT.

EXCEPT I'm much closer to the equator, which should make the sun set even later. Is there any rule of thumb or simple equation to use to factor in the effect of lattitude?
