John, you have not specified whether you want an AGP or PCIEX card. Even an older golder 6600GT has 3.0 pixel and vertex shader.

No dear, it's not for you if you play games or sh4.
You need more ram (2GB) and a better Graphic card

well card will be last anyway my hp computer is 512 but the 3.33 should be enough

I doubt that computer will play SHIV well....not as it is. Problem is very low RAM and onboard video. The processer speed is fine but the RAM and onboard video are killers. I'm having to update my vid card (and power supply) becuase my on board card wont hack it
